The 2G GSM mobile networks in Cyprus covers all (99%) of the republic. You are able to connect to the network with your mobile phone, as long as you are in the republic. If you visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (or the occupied area for most) you cannot connect to the mobile networks from the republic of Cyprus.

4G (LTE) network coverage in Cyprus

4G mobile network coverage is still sparse in Cyprus. The rollout of the 4G network has started but is currently solely covering the five biggest cities: Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta.

4G is currently only offered by two mobile providers in Cyprus: MTN & Primetel. If you are looking for high speed mobile internet, you will need to choose MTN or Primetel.
